Prayers of the Faithful

• For God’s Holy Church, and especially for parishes without a priest to celebrate the Eucharist, may we be united with them as we pray for priestly vocations. We pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.
• For all the world, may the charity and love of God reign in our hearts and transform all nations and peoples. We pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.
• For all who will go to bed hungry tonight, especially children and elderly, may they be provided for out of the bounty of their neighbors. We pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.
• For all who gather during the Triduum both in person and virtually, may we all receive the Body and Blood of Christ and go out to become the Body of Christ Alive in the world. We pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.
• For Melvin Freisinger and all who have died, that they be resurrected with Jesus and dwell with Him and the Father in heaven. We pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

Spiritual Communion Prayer

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
