Prayers of the Faithful

• That Pope Francis and all who serve as shepherds to the people of God emulate the life of Christ with charity and grace, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That world leaders seek the compassion and mercy of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and promote justice, civility, and peace among all nations, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That all Christians, baptized in the name of the Lord, hear and heed the voice of the Shepherd who calls us to be symbols of God’s light to humanity, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That Christ Jesus be the cornerstone of our lives as we minister to our bothers and sisters in need, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That the Holy Spirit inspire all who are making vocational decisions, and give them courage to answer God’s calling, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That the children receiving their First Communion grow in love of the Risen Jesus and His presence in the Blessed Sacrament, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.
• That June & Kenneth Palm; Minor Maas; Bob Zahren; Nick & Grace Ervolino; Carol Lutgen; Coletta Koos; Wilber Burger; Gerald, Susan & Kathy Wild; Bill Thul and Family; Barb Setter; Lyle & Nellie Link; and all who have died be brought to the fullness of eternal life by our Good Shepherd, we pray: Risen Lord, hear our prayer.

Spiritual Communion Prayer

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
