A Note from the Pastors:
Gov. Reynolds said Iowa has its 1
st
“community spread” case of Coronavirus.
Churches and other organizations are to start limiting gatherings of more than 250 persons.
St. Columbkille and St. Joseph the Worker often have 250 to 300 persons at Sunday Masses.
Vulnerable populations
like elderly, those with underlying health issues, or their care-givers
are
encouraged to not attend today
.
Your pastors want you to know there is
no obligation
to attend Mass for these persons, or any who are uncomfortable attending.
Watch parish websites for further changes to schedules, any cancellation of all Masses, and suggestions for prayer in the days ahead.
Pray for our Blessed Mother’s intercession and for our Lord’s healing and peace for us.
