Baptism
Baptisms at St. Columbkille are usually celebrated typically at or after a 4:15 PM Mass or a 10:00 AM Mass. Parents & God-parents are expected to attend a Baptismal Class. To schedule a Baptism, please call Fr. Gabriel at the Parish Office: (563) 583-9117.
COMMUNION CALLS FOR THE SICK/SHUT-IN
If you or a family member is ill, shut-in, or in a nursing home and would like to receive Holy Communion, please contact the Parish Office at (563) 583-9117.
Eucharist
Please call the Parish Office to register for Religious Education.
Reconciliation
Saturday at 3:00 PM, Fridays after the 7 AM Mass, or anytime by appointment.
Confirmation
Please call the Parish Office to enroll your child in Confirmation Class.
Marriage
A great blessing for a parish is the celebration in which a man and a woman marry. It is a time of great joy for the couple, their families and their friends. All of their parish family is reminded of their own call to holiness. It is a time of celebration.
Pre-Cana class is required for anyone who wishes to be married in the Catholic Church. A couple planning to marry at St. Columbkille need to contact Deacon Bill Biver at (563) 556-5314 (Home) or (563) 580-6986 (cell), to set up an appointment for Pre-Cana classes before any wedding dates are set or halls are rented.
Anointing of the Sick
Fr. Gabriel may be called at any time day or night for the Sacrament of the sick. Furthermore, Father will be happy to visit the Sick with Holy Communion upon request.
