St. Columbkille Faith Formation Covenant
For over 120 years, St. Columbkille has been very blessed to keep Catholic Faith Formation a top priority! Here parishioners find a great support in their life long, spiritual journey. Catholic Faith Formation spans from early childhood, through the school years, young adulthood, to family life, including persons with disabilities, the elderly and the marginalized.
Jesus makes it clear in the Parable of the Faithful Servant, “From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required.” Luke 12:48. Every parishioner of St. Columbkille is called to faithful stewardship of God’s generous gifts. God is never out done in generosity. In a simple way, this is how Catholic Faith Formation works:
Each one of us offers one hour of worship, ministry and work to Almighty God every week.
One Hour of Worship
First and foremost, we offer thanksgiving to Almighty God in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist every week. This is our parish. So we make a special effort to worship with our community of faith here at St. Columbkille.
One Hour of Ministry
We share one hour each week of our time and talent to build up the Body of Christ here at St. Columbkille. This may include teaching or helping in school, a parish ministry, committee or Religious Education.
One Hour of Work
Each one of us shares the gross value of one hour of our labor every week. St. Columbkille needs your help.
