Christian Experience Weekends for Men and Women(CEW)
The Christian Experience Weekend (CEW) is a spiritual renewal retreat. It consists of presentations, reflection, group prayer services, opportunity for Reconciliation, and Sunday Liturgy. The renewal of one’s life in Christ is the focus as each participant examines his or her relationship with self, others, and God.
In John 10:10, Jesus says, “I came that they might have life and have it in full.” The Christian Experience weekend gives adults an awareness and appreciation of this fullness of life.
Please join us. All are welcome!

What is a Christian Experience Weekend?
A Christian Experience Weekend (C.E.W.) is a renewal weekend for adults, designed to enable you to more deeply ‘experience’ yourself as well as your relationship with God and the Christian Community.
How is the weekend structured?
The CEW weekend begins on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. and ends at about 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. In order to maximize the CEW community experience, all participants spend the entire time together, in one building, sleeping on cots and air mattresses and using sleeping bags.
What happens on a CEW?
A series of talks, discussions and fun activities are conducted by both religious and lay persons which enhance your awareness of God in your life and in the Christian community
Who should attend?
Anyone wishing to grow stronger in their faith, their personal relationship with God and their Christian community. Non Catholics are welcome but there is a strong Catholic flavor with the sacramental presence of Eucharist and Reconciliation.
What does the weekend cost?
The full amount of the weekend is $30.00. We ask that you include $15.00 with the application. Make your check payable to: Christian Experience Weekend.
Testimonials of those who have been on a CEW:
“WOW, what a absolutely terrific weekend experience. I went into my first CEW with very few expectations (hang with the guys, play some cards, etc), but came away overwhelmed with a renewed recognition and appreciation of the love God has for us all.”
“The Holy Spirit was definitely present during that weekend, allowing me to open my heart to hear and follow God’s word. I believe this weekend was so much more than a “feel good” weekend, but was actually a “life changing” weekend, and it doesn’t get any better than that!
“CEW has had a profound affect on our marriage, our family and our relationship with God. We had reached a point in our life where we felt something was missing. That something was actually someone-GOD. CEW offered us the opportunity to establish a new relationship with GOD and reflect upon HIS importance in our family life. Our family has grown so much closer since attending a CEW- a closeness we could not have attained without Christ.
